around 400 I guess
Old Thread: IMPORTANT Change Coming to Vacation Use!

LegoPirateSenior I don't know I like the idea of the site being so friendly to players with MASSIVE numbers of games.
I once had 100+ games; I played moves at least once or twice a day. It became a chore, but thankfully it ended (reduced to <50 games) pretty quickly.

okay, Kacper, in the last many days ... :-) I had been impressed when I saw that during the last couple of days, you managed to finish about 50 games per day or so :-)

You mean the highest? Around 1300, but I don't know exactly because it was changing too quickly, too many people resigning and timting out...

Why don't you like the idea? Too easy to get addicted?

I don't like the idea because I think that the site should be spending time on adding features useful for everybody, not features which are only useful for a small subset of users.

Good reason. I see your point.

I imagine this proposed change will benefit virtually EVERYONE on the site:
1. the small group of members who get worked up about it
2. the slightly larger group who are not that bothered - but who nevertheless appreciate when childish behaviour (stalling) is curtailed
3. the even larger group who find 'vacation abuse' discussions/whining distasteful
4. the tiny group who either deliberately stall - or have an unsupportable number of games

It would be nice if group #3 ended up happy, but I suspect the amount of whining will not decrease but instead just shift focus. Whiners can't help it-- if they don't whine about something their heads eventually explode and then someone has to clean up all that whine goo.

Some people like to whine about whining.
What's your target value?
