Do you play chess OTB? Well likely you are playing on a board manufactured by a brand

Do you play any type of sport? Well sucks for you, there's a brand that makes the sports equipment

Do you drink bottled water? Well bottles of water are made by a company.

Do you eat food? Well all food comes from somewhere, most likely a company with a brand name

Do you live in a house? Well likely a company, under a brand name, built it

What device are you on right now as you type? Well there's a brand right there

Do you understand how stupid you sound right now?

We ate live chickens.

It did not have Tyson or Perdue on the package. The chicken did not even come in a package.

We lived on a dirt floor house.

Built of simple wood. A corrugated metal ton top, and straws. There is no company that builds it. It was self built. There is no brand on that house.

When it floods, there's fish in the house.

You said I don't play on Chess.com, this brand, as if that means anything to me, or to anybody else.

And OTB, playing chess over the board, again, that's "young in" speak, backwards speech.

People just called it "playing chess".

lmao okay whatever you say

We didn't buy a jump rope from a store.

We didn't buy a jump rope with a brand.

We didn't buy a jump rope without a brand.

We didn't buy a jump rope.

We made a jump rope by threading rubber bands together.

I made my first weight buy using an empty gallon of milk and put water in it.

As I said, you can't even imagination a world without brands.

You lived in it for so long.

Your first weight, your first jump rope.

what around right now though

So what do you care about?

The people that can't solve the Rubik's cube themselves?

listen if you can solve a Rubik's cube good for you no need to flex cuz this is a website where people don't give a sh_t that you can solve a cube

When I was 10 years old in Vietnam, 1970. I started playing Chinese chess with bottle caps and a brown paper bag.

I made my first Chinese chess set with discarded bottle caps and a brown paper bag.

So are these people.

Maybe it is not an accident that I solved the Rubik's cube.

These people who will grow up the hard way, like I did, will surpass all you candy [bleep] modern day "young ins".

good for you, you solved the rubik's cube.

We can solve the rubik's cube in sub thirty seconds, because we use our resources. Ever heard of the saying 'Work smarter, not harder'

Ok, still don't understand?

Let's say you have a two thousand pound weight that you must move and you have a rope and pulley system two steps away. Will you use the machine or will you try to lift the weight by yourself??

Your second statement: You made your first set with paper bags and bottle caps. That could have been considered 'good' given your resources back then, so you were also using your resources.

We are also using our resources, ie the internet.

In fifty years, when technology will be much more advanced, playing chess on the internet could be considered 'basic'

You don't always have a map.

There are uncharted territories.

The problems we have in society?

Are the problems no one has an answer for yet. You can't look it up anywhere.

And the problem you think you solved, you have to solve them again.

The gym has everything. It has every equipment you need. You don't have to think of anything. All the thinking was done for you for over 100 years.

Pandemic.

Gyms are closed.

Home gym equipment prices goes through the roof.

You're back to square 1. Now you to solve the problem yourself.

You live in a place where there is no gym.

You have to solve the problem yourself, again.

I don't always have a map, yes that's true. But when I have a map, I use it

As I said before, you (all of yous) don't even understand the question, let alone the answer.

What did you gain and what did you lose?

When you look up an answer on "the internet" instead of solving the cube yourself.

What do you gain and what do you lose when you buy a chess set instead of making one yourself?

When i look up the answer on "the internet" I gained the knowledge of how to solve the cube and gained a ton of time if I didn't look it up on the internet. As I said before, It's called using resources when you have them.
