New Site Design Feedback

if you are playing online chess several indicators:

1) if you are on your online page ,the border around the board is a different color then the rest it's like a bright orange or red

2) if you are on your home page( where your friend,groups,stats at) your games in list form there will be a pawn with a hand on it if it your turn to move

3)up by where name at the top page you will see a "pawn" with number ,click on it an it will take you to your "next ready game"

i have read all these comments about the new site. 

you who dislike the new site are quite correct.

there is no free coupon for thai food offered at the new site.

What an egregious omission! And to think, I actually thought I liked the new site (a lot!), but now that I realize the free food coupon is missing, forget it, how can we stand for this?

yes, a change in format but also now after ten tournament entries for paying players like myself you have to upgrade to a higher financial level to play in more than ten tournaments and it...most importantly..

..to hard to find how to list for "new" non-tournament games ( where is this place on the site to do this as it was very  obvious on the old format ).

i have subscriptions to gameknot and timeforchess. 

why should i renew here for the same $40.00 i spend there if you give me less than they are willing to give me ?

"start new game" should be on the upper band bar and not hidden away on other pages in tiny words.

i wanted to be nice and say positive things about the new format.

i can't.  the old format was stodgy. 

the old format was user friendly.

we who pay to run the site deserve a friendly site.

Has anyone mentioned about the fact that on Iphone you now can't view the site properly?  I used to be able to 'pinch' zoom out.  Now I can't use game explorer when on the move as half the screen is missing.  Any reason why or am I missing something?

Game explorer on the app would be ace!

yes. we still can't use iphone with the new design.

Oh Dear, either something is wrong with the ipad browser or the Team Matches in Progress counter has disappeared from the Teams' public profile as well... 

I feel very patronized.

please create a seperate forum for the chidren who live off of wifi, etc.

i have land line.  i do not care to read about their emotional attachment to things instead of people.

grow up ( if you ever move out of your parent's house and get a real job )..do your parent's pay for your iphone internet connection too ?

No doubt the various operational bugs etc. will be fixed. But that is small comfort for the visually inpaired, for whom the new 'modern' look is nothing short of a dissaster: miscroscopic font sizes, unreadably pale colours, items dropping off the page when we try to upsize it, and so on. What a shame no one thought it worthwhile to consult with some of us first!

i spoke about all the people who have ( reasonable ) complaints why there mobile devices do not serve the new site.  i wish them well and for admin to give them ( subscribers ) what they pay for....but please, please..

let those who cannot live without something electric in their hand have a seperate forum..could we call it the add or adhd or the prozac forum ?

give life a break...put away your electric things and just have a conversation, read a book, take a walk and then go to your desk and play some online chess as a distraction instead of a continuing "iphone thing"..

and you think parents don't use iphone?

I take you have never used an iphone?  Twenty years ago I had never used a laptop.  Get with the times.  Don't fear innovation!  The iphone simply lets me catch up with my chess games whilst out and about (lunch break etc)...  nothing more sinister than that.  When at home I always use my laptop to view chess.com.

I'm having similar problems with the iphone. Cant seem to make moves on the online chess board and also half the screen is missing and its stuck so no movement to see the full board....Help I make most of my moves while on the move :)
