Was this actually the case?

I have been told that Windows-7_ was told to leave the forums by the staff, which is to explain for his lack of activity in the recent past. What makes me think twice is that why wouldn't he just be banned from the forums? Did this actually happen, or was it his own decision? I just want to make this crystal clear whether or not this is real, or if some people have just been lying to my face.

I think he probably banned so many people there was no one left to talk to.

Did they lie (ie, know the truth but deceive you) or are they simply guessing?

ItalianGame and Windows were just too sensitive about everything. Back then, people weren't that mean to them, they just didn't like jokes. Now though, some people seem to be a lot meaner to you, for instance, but you seem to like it. They didn't like it.

But, you seem to purposely go into threads and say things which are almost provoking borish behaviour from the people that just keep calling you names. I thought you just enjoyed it as much as they seem to enjoy insulting you? Aren't these fights y'all get into  the sames one's that have been going on for over a month?

Really? But, you go into other people's threads and try to control the content. Like you're the moderator. And if there is one sure thing on any internet forum, it's that people have a love/hate attitude towards the moderation of their comments. I don't like people calling you names over and over again, but you don't seem to mind. You seem to look for places in threads where you can moderate, just like some of these people dismiss everything you write, no matter how good it is.

 Like the CPOTM thread. People seemed to be having a good time, then out of nowhere you warned people to stop! It didn't make sense. They have moderators on the site, and the OP is quite used to it. So I just figured this is "your thing". That you like getting in the same fights I keep seeing. Like you pursue it?

But, the voting hasn't ended. It's proknight's thread. He'll come on and say who the winner is, or he'll have a run-off of the top vote recipients, or he'll basically do whatever he wants. Sometimes fictional people get voted for, sometimes votes aren't counted, etc. It's kind of crazy, but that's part of it's charm. Sometimes you're baffled that someone gets one vote, let alone winning the whole thing! It's been going on for well over a year, and no one knows what it means! But, one thing is for sure, whoever takes it seriously is going to be disappointed

I would imagine if you somehow can moderate your desire for control a bit, then you will eventually be in that hilarious race to the top of the Chess.com pinnacle of confusion

I don't think the staff tell people to leave the forums.

Actually, I'd recommend you go the "maturity route"-- and try to not walk too close to the guy in front of you, as it's rude.
