Hi, so im wondering if any endgame experts have advice on this topic. Almost everyone knows of the bishop pair advantage which often but not always grants at least a half pawn advantage, but what about the dynamic between two knights vs bishop and knight?

when is having the two knights preferable? what type of positions? any general suggestions?

Larsen was a master in turning many of these endgames into good Knight versus bad Bishop by exchanging the Bishops and placing the pawns on the right squares.

you can research this in chessbase using the "endgames" theme key and looking at the material imbalances in the endgame chart. its under "two minor pieces"
