I'm playing as black. Whites opening is one that I rarely encounter so I respond Nc3 to whites d4 opening.

Theempiremaker

Being able to review your games go's a long way. I just noticed my opponent developed a fianchetto upon reviewing this game for my post. I'm showing whites move of Bg2 , this is whites fourth move.

Theempiremaker

My response to Bg2 from white was h6. I think I moved the pawn because I couldn't think of any better move so I settled on moving pawn to h6.

Theempiremaker

At move 6 White moves Nh3 , when I see a Knight at the edge of the board I say to myself '' a knight on the rim is dim''. My response was Qb6 which is also a questionable move in bringing the Queen out to fight so early in the game.

Do you not know how to post a full game in one post?

"My response to Bg2 from white was h6. I think I moved the pawn because I couldn't think of any better move so I settled on moving pawn to h6."

Couldnt see a better move!?  Free pawn on g4! nom nom nom!  Also, In future, if you are stuck for a good move in the opening (assuming there's nothing obvious!), develop a piece.  h6 does nothing, and gives white a free go.  Almost anything is better than nothing!  Wink

Actually pawn h6 will become very significant in this game, when you have time check back and see.

heh, "it's better to be lucky than good" I guess.  You still shouldn't play it in the opening unless the position calls for it.  You cant be lucky all the time.  Smile

btw, I cant see the game.  You need to click 'enter game' instead of 'enter position', and then on the starting position, click 'enter moves' and then input the moves for your game.

Thanks, I made a miscue with whites pawn, it should be at g3 instead of g4. I'm working on the correction right now.

Theempiremaker

Since Black's Queen is out in battle she should be kept busy, a rule I work to hold is to have the Queen to take more pieces, and more material than my opponents Queen when she's called to fight. At move 7 White moves pawn to b3 , Black's Queen captures through the move of Qxd4.

Theempiremaker

Upon bringing the game to move 9 White castles,  0-0 .

An ''official stalker'' ? I guess I'm moving up in this world ! Thank you for the instructions madstermind. I wish you a good day ...or evening .

Theempiremaker

Black's response is g5 . At move 10 the White knight is ordered Na4 ; again the voice in my mind relays the saying ''a Knight on the rim is grim'', well now my opponent has both Knights on the edges of the board.

Theempiremaker

Black orders an attack on Whites Knight by sending pawn to b5.

Theempiremaker

White counters at move 11 with Bc3. The beginning of a long  diagonal ? I am concerned as viewed from the illustration of white pinning blacks Queen and Knight.

Theempiremaker

Blacks Queen has moved to protect herself as has whites Knight. The end of the 12th move Blacks pawn covers e5, covering its Knight from an attack by whites Bishop.

Theempiremaker

White moves Qd2 on the 13th move. Black ends the 13th move by ordering pawn g4, which will be one of several saving moves for black, which will be shown later in this forum.

Theempiremaker

On move 14 White moves Nf4, I'm sure this was an unwanted sacrifice, but white may have been looking to equalize in material soon after the move which can be indicated by examing the postions of whites Queen(Qd2) its pawn at g3, and the White Bishop(Bc3).
