Help beating Nelson (computer)

i beat him finally in a random game that i was not expecting to win in

What has been said is mostly false. I beat Nelson before and made it to advance bots then decided to go back to Nelson because he brings his Queen out like Agent Chess does. You can develop perfectly against Nelson and trade off queens but he is highly skilled in using his other pieces more than his 1300 trying. He is at least a 1600 rated bot. I wish the people behind this website knew they were doing in attempting to have bots with different skill types. They don't.

Same here. I recently beat him by bringing out my queen to the side he was going to bring his queen out on. It seemed to throw him off. I think I traded queens off and then forked his rook and king with my knight which I didn't think he would fall for.  

Nelson is very weak against pawn attacks, it is easy to catch his queen with my pawn after attacking with my knight and bishop

I beat nelson pretty easily nowadays, I'm rated about 600ish it fluctuates.

Get rid of the queen he has. It is his main source of checkmates, checks, and aggressive moves.

Nelson is a gadfly in the opening moves. His queen is just waiting for you to make a mistake, but there is no brilliant plan behind his strategy if you keep a tidy house. If you make sure that your pieces are covered, you can gain a few tempos and develop a stronger position for the middle game. There are scores of human players who play like Nelson in blitz games, though their endgame is usually much better.
