In 3 check this is good. You can take the Bishop they use to block with the queen and you only need one more check!

Oh no do not
the queen can almost always get a free check
if you sacrifice it for 1 check instead of building an attack with it,it would not be that worth it as your opponent can fight back with their queen and get a winning chance
For me I think the best move is to back the queen up tbh

Often times your opponent can defend the last check and starts to attack with their queen

“Why not d5?” If you mean for white on move 2, then black responds 2...dxe4 and you’re down a pawn in a position that slightly favors black. If you mean 5. d4 instead of 5. d3, that’s to prevent black playing ...Bxc2 after 5...Bf5 and making you recapture with your queen.
