Classic Chess Joke

In a park people come across a man playing chess against a dog. They are astonished and say: "What a clever dog!" But the man protests: "No, no, he isn't that clever. I'm leading by three games to one!"

heres one a funny quote sry okay so..............

tal is playing a game against keres and being him self he makes a brilliant sac, keres stares at it for a while and then stood up and took his jaket off. Keres ended up winning but tal said this after the game "i had calculated everthing excerpt for him to take his jaket off"

i don't get the orginal joke...

I hate to analyze jokes but...

1.Any dog who play chess is smart by any criteria.

2.Any chess player who lose vs. dog is not that smart by any criteria.

Any man who is bragging about wining in any game made by human, and win vs. animal is just silly.

Now I destroyed this joke. Give me a new one plz.

a guy walked by a building where the entrance was wide open and in that area a bunch of fanatical people were bragging about how good they were at chess.Soon another passerby approached and asked the first man what was going on.  He replied,"just a bunch of chess nuts boasting in an open foyer."

Now that one I don't get at all. 

I think it's meant to be a play on words...

Oh, come on! The Next Generation of posters is far better than The Original Series.

I prefer the older group simply because it was much smaller and you could actually reconize people, not "oh hey, I may know that guys profile pic, that's neat".
