Why do you like chess?

I don't hear so good though.  And I do have occasional sinus trouble.

I like chess because it's amazing game for me.

Everyone has absolutely the same chances and oppurtunities at the beginning, no matter if GM or amateur. Also, its played worldwide, thus connecting people somehow.

why do mainstream society in general tend to avoid chess and compare it to an advanced form of ludo?
