1st game in a long time

This is my first game i have played in a long time. im not a pro nor amateur i don't know what i am... Tell me your thoughts on how i did

you also should of played 31. b8=Q. How could someone miss that regardless of the counter attack on the bishop.

Just a thought, but like bolshevik said, you could have easily promoted 31.b8=Q and had a quicker game.   It wasn't necessarily a mistake, just made the game a little longer.  It would have ended after 31....ANYTHING followed by mate in at most 4 (no petty checks by black to make it mate in 5 or 6 because the queen is out of position and the bishop is pinned).   Anyway, both your analysis and play were good.  I like to know what people are thinking and why they move the way they do.  Very fun game to watch.  Thanks for posting, and maybe challenge me sometime to a game!  Thanks,

It's not that i didn't see it's just i didn't want to play it, I was playing against a good friend who said he was better than me. I simply wanted to see if he would surprise me with something..

Thanks for the comment.. well this game was played like on an actual board not through computer i just posted it on here. I would gladly challenge you but, I really really suck playing through computers i'm not  used to how they look and i can't make all the calculations, tactics etc.  like how i can on an actual board

And how would that be dumb... I was not  trying to win that was not my intension i was simply playing just to play. I was not really trying to win it was more like a passive game for me i wanted to see if he had improved which he did...

well well well you sound just like my friend, we played and he lost and if you think i suck so much why not a match ? People also play for different reasons its not always about wining i simply like to play, I always have and always will

Gato's lying about not trying to win. I just played him and he told me that he could of won, that he wasnt paying attention, w/ this excuse and that excuse.Then he wanted a rematch after i went out of my way  playing w/ 400 points ahead having everything to lose and nothing to gain. No way you're getting a rematch. I proved you were an inferior player, and the bottom line is that you can't be trusted.
