on move 13 i had a missed win.

i can't find it or the reason the eval bar jumped 3 points.

i see the pin on the a1 rook but there surely is a way for my opponent to avoid sacking the exchange

Did you look at the analysis? e4 looks devastating.

i did. but i wouldn't mark it as a win. just a pawn up..

Looks like black can trade his d pawn for the ones on e and f.  Up one pawn.

At that point, white has a horribly weak pawn on d4 and his king's pawns are not strong.  With good play by black, that should be enough to win.

Black has a slight positional advantage after Nfd4.  But not as much as compared with the position after d6.

"Missed win" does not translate into "checkmate within X moves."  It just means the position should be winning with good play after that.

well if the computer thinks i can win  this easily he clearly didn't pay attention to any of my games..

but sure i can see how it is winning. also I'm kinda disappointed that my stronghold on d4 didn't hold. if i did the d6 line earlier it would work and i had the prettiest minor piece on the board
