Adjusted accuracy after retries

What does that "after retries" part mean? I thought the game reviews showed your actual accuracy.

It does show your accuracy but if you go through the Key moves or through any other moves and Retry any of them, that can update the accuracy values

If you use the engine to try to get some idea of the score it attributes to any particular position, you can tell that the engine's assessment isn't accurate since if you jiggle around a bit and maybe try another move and go a couple of moves backwards and forwards, sometimes the score it gives is very different from the first assessment.

I've been using the engine to try to analyse a 5 minute blitz game I just played. My opponent walked into a checkmate and so I didn't have any trouble in winning but if they had played more accurately, white was winning but the assessment of about +3.5 was about right because I think white ends up winning a knight. However, the tactics are so difficult, if black plays better, that I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have found the best moves and would have depended on my opponent blundering again. Luckily they attacked my Q with Bf5, which loses to RxB, which they should have seen. The assessments change if you go a few moves forwards and backwards. I don't use Game Review out of preference because it seems so inaccurate and ridiculous. Just the analysis function, which is quite good if it's used properly.

I would have thought it's about the engine's learning ability. That is, if it doesn't assess a position well right away, fiddling about a little gives it some data on which to focus its analysis better.
