An embarassing draw

I need to start looking for counterplay for my opponent before assuming I have a quick win.

I analysed 27 ... Nd5 28. BxN pxB 29. f5 (and if B takes than R sac followed by the other R over to the h-file) but not the simple 27. ... Bb7. I suppose it was rather cowardly of my to invite the draw with 28. Rf2 (instead Rg3 maybe?) but I was all of a sudden very displeased with my position and not thinking straight. I probably should've played 28. Rg3, huh?

Props to batok for holding on & catching me trying to bite off more than I could chew!

I don't seem to remember why I didn't play 23. Ne4.  I thought I found something wrong with it (what I don't remember) or maybe I just thought my variation was more forcing or something (evdiently not).

28 Rfd1 is a great move!  Thanks for showing me that!

Cheers,

not sure but I think that on move 26, had you taken with the pawn, then Qh6 would have led to a rapid mate.
