compensation for the knight?

after I lose the knight, do I have compensation, or does my opponent just misplay the rest of the game?

i think ur opponent just messed up by letting his h8 rook just sit there and not trying to push the d pawn somehow. in the albin, the d pawn is supposed to get pushed to the 3rd or 2nd rank and totally kill whites position instead of peacefully sitting on d4 and not do anything

Well, since Black is almost completely undeveloped, you stand a good chance if you jump on  it, which you seemed to waste no time doing. Even by the end of the game, his KR had no role and may as well have been off the board.
