Game Analysis is stupid

Move 27.

Apparently the analysis engine thinks the best move is exd3.
Is it completely stupid? I should accept a knight trade when the black knight cannot escape, no move can save it, and I can easily move my knight away and get it for 2 pawns?
My move was h4. Analysis claimed this was a mistake. Okay, maybe I should of done e3.
GUESS WHAT?
When I tried e3, now the analysis says h4 was the best move!

So what is wrong with your garbage analysis?

exd3? Do you mean Kxd3?

h4? Do you mean Nh4?

Yes

Either way white is winning, and since there is a marginal difference between the two plans the engine can't decide which one to use.

After 27. Kxd3 Kxf5 28. Rxc7, the game has been simplified and white has protected passed pawns in the center.

As far as Nh4 being labeled the best move after Ke3, computer analyses have their limitations.  They only calculate a few moves ahead.  The situation has changed,  the computer calculates one move further, and the evaluation is different.

I played both Kxd3 and Nh4 against the computer (max).  Kxd3 was much easier.
