How to become GM in 3 months?

No, I worked really hard.

ozzie_c_cobblepot

It's possible, if you are already an IM with 3 GM norms and just a couple of rating points to achieve.

Or it's probably possible if you "donate" the right amount of money to FIDE in some capacity. At least you could maybe get some sort of honorary title?

thegreat_patzer

there is , of course, the arena titles

One of them is called the AGM and it is much easier to get.  if your strong and working on gaming the clock it might be quite doable.

AiryNeon

Just give up guys.  There is no getting through to him.

That isn't true. Bullet is chess.  The most ridiculous, least instructive, entertaining, blunderful, useless version of chess in existense.  Well, maybe antichess is.  Bullet antichess.

When Staff catch him for improving in cheat from 900 to 1600, he'll just say that people in this forum told him to do it.

You're blocked for accusing me of cheating based on no grounds whatsoever

molo1

that's really good progress. I hope you achieve your aims.

Well first get your tactics rating up from 121.
regitche
That's not exactly gm level.

Antichess is more fun.  Chess is generally about analysing positions or remembering similar ones.  Bullet is about thinking in half a second "which move can I make that doesn't make me look a complete buffoon".

real_DonaldTrump

funny thing is, it probably takes over 3 months for FIDE to approve GM title apps

XD I didn't even look at his profile.  Like a 2300 would do that.

Yeah but look at how he played i analyzed the game he had an average difference of 0.01 in a bullet game wtf

AiryNeon

True.  I don't think I would have seen a lot of those moves in a blitz 5/0, let alone a 1/0.

SilentKnighte5

It's been 5 months, I assume you're a super GM by now.

I want to become GM in less than 3 months and impress my friends. What should I do? I'm 23.

1. Invent a flux capacitor : Image result for flux capacitor

2.Create a time machine out of a delorean

3.Travel back in time to 1985

4. Play a lot of OTB tournaments

5. Study chess 10 hours a day

6. Realize you can't do it and wreck your time machine, leaving you stranded in 1985

7. Build another time machine with a flux capacitor [it will take you time, so will end up in 2016 again

8. Repeat steps 3-7 over and over until you give up on GM in 3 months
