At the time of this game, I had been playing chess for a little over 2 months, and I just reached 1200 elo around then. Do you think I could make it to 1600 by the end of the year? Be honest.
You definitely can, it will just take discipline or an obsession (my case.) I recommend looking over and annotating some of your games when you can, it helps internalize ideas you didn't notice and knowing where you make mistakes allows you to work on them.
Hopefully not an obsession. I just play like an hour each day if I feel like it.
