Also this is my first ever forum post. I added brackets for better reading. I don't know if whether or not it will help you, but if you have any problems (or you want to improve the article or something), feel free to message me. happy.png

Awesome checkmate! happy.png This is actually a checkmate pattern known as Boden's Mate. It doesn't come up too often in games. You did really great to find it there happy.png

Yeah, thanks. I appreciate it. happy.png

Unfortunately, I think I made some typos or something unadded, since I can't edit the Game Analysis. (it won't let me do it) meh

Yeah, I have the same problem sometimes and just leave it in there. The way to correct the typos is to copy and paste your pgn into the analysis board, manually edit the annotations to fix the typos and then copy the next annotated pgn and paste it into the diagram for this thread. However, this is too much work and with risk of deleting everything if you misclick something, so I'd just leave it as is.

I play the Petroff as my exclusive response to 1.e4 e5 2.Nf3---well done.

That was a very pretty finish! But I would suggest that when posting games in the future, you don't put a comment after every single move! it makes the score less readable, and many moves don't need to be explained. Save your comments for important moves

Yeah, maybe you're right. But it's my first forum ever. So it is a "bit too much" messy.

But... what do you mean by score?

Laskersnephew

I may be showing my age! the "score" is short for the score sheet, where you record your moves in OTB chess. I mean the game score, the list of moves

Devian656V

At least that's why the moves are highlited.
