@smiley_face10 or anyone ... how do I add a game from my library directly into a message. I can provide a link but I like when game is very short checkmate that I can just display the game here so all you have to do is click the forward button. How do I do that please?

Understood! I'm new and still learning so the only advice I can give is - never never never giveup and keep it fun. When you have an incredible game where you checkmate, save it to your library then go to Analysis and pull that library game in and analyse it watching what Stockfish recommends each step. I've been a yo yo on my games but finding that ability has turned my attitude quite a bit and it's fun again!

So all I can say is hang in there and play for fun and curiosity and explore the wonderful aspects of this app. The people are great, the interface is top notch, and discoveries keep it incredibly exciting. I hope the best for you!

@smiley_face10 ... I found where you explain how to add a game - thank you! Please view this game for fun and NOT a suggested opening or skill. I've won and lost games with variations of opening steps thru 4 by ELO players 300-600 (my current ELO range). I'm new to chess; more advanced players wouldn't get caught like this or even use this opening. I use Analysis on all my games to see how Stockfish would have handled it.

My white knight can king/queen fork or take the queen and is a banging FUN queen capture, king chase, and later checkmate. I missed many chances such as moves 5, 22, and 34.

I blew out my knee during practice and these pain meds dropped my ELO 200 points, but Lordy how exciting! I love this game and this website!

I hope I added this game right!

I heard Bobby Fischer got a 17 move checkmate before. This game was brilliant!

That really WAS a gorgeous checkmate! Thanks for sharing it!

That was a wonderful game. You had very nice tactical finds and I saw you had only a few mistakes(like you said 5,22,34 but barely any others). You spotted many of your opponents mistakes and immediately took advantage of them. Many of your moves had good meaning to it and im very impressed! =)

Np for the instructions but thank you very much for the advice! You kind of made me remember why I started playing chess in the first place. Once again thank you!

Hey I reviewed your first game but this tramadol makes me a bit nuts. I thought you were white at first and thought you were a bit nuts too, bringing your queen out so early. When I dropped into Analysis and saw you were black, the only thing I spotted is:

c6 rate was .17 whereas c5 was .27. I believe it is because, on the queenside, c5 allows both queen AND knight rapid deploy and with someone attacking with queen so early, you need rapid deploy and castle early.

Analysis settings: I set Strength to Maximum, Time to 30 sec and Number of Lines to 5. I haven't figured out what Threads do yet, sorry.

Otherwise I quite liked your game. I really enjoy watching others' games and then running them through Analysis to see what Stocky would have done instead. Sorry these meds make me funny right now.

I'm glad you started this thread and I'm looking forward to others' games. Thank you! BTW, there is a guy on YouTube who is really good Chess Vibes (Nelson Lopez). I'm devouring his stuff because he does what you want EXACTLY - analyses games and I'm learning a lot from his methods. Anyway, I may come back to this once my knee is better and I'm off these drugs.

All my best to you, Smiley!!

Thank you! I hope you make a quick recovery and I appreciate everything! =)

You did well coming back on the first game but you blundered very early in the game(try avoiding that). For the second try not relying on the scholar's mate as your primary moves since once you get to higher elo people will begin to know how to counter it.

Yep, I've been checkmated by this many times (your second game) and, as Smiley says, we learn to avoid this trap fairly early. But isn't it GORGEOUS? Yes indeed!! Always watch that you MIGHT be able to pull it off though. Your knight can also offer support in landing on e5 or g5 for that attack. I just adore this game! I've pulled off some checkmates which shocked me - those are my favorite! When I wasn't trying to checkmate and just stumbled into them, hahaha! Being new to chess is actually very fun because everhting is OUSTANDING. Thanks for sharing your game!

On your game where you're black 8 days ago ... I like that you focus on development and castling first. I liked your Nd2 fork on queen/rook move 13! Yep, I saw that checkmate coming - SWEEEEET!!! Thanks for sharing it with us!

I couldn't stop laughing after this game.
