He means you didn't have to take the pawn at the end. You could have mated a lot faster.
Ah, my apologies. Yeah, silly mistake, guess I wasn't thinking really at that point since I had all the extra material.
While your opening is good in the fact that you traded an f pawn for an e pawn, thus gaining control of the center, you should avoid movinb your f pawn until you know what you're doing on the chess board. It opens up some attacking positions for your opponent. For example, if your opponent's queen checked Qh4+ and had a bishop on the b1-h2 diagonal, the response of b3 would be met with Bxb3+. After you take the bishop your rook is hanging. You would then have to move your king and lose your castle (and the pawn).
I'm not a good player by any means, but I don't think I did too bad in this game. What could of been done better by me?
