Yesterday I played in the International Chess Academy Open tournament and finished with a score of 1.5 out of 3. One game was a very fast loss, and another was a relatively easy win, albeit one that lasted a long time. However, this first round draw against a guy rated about 400 points above me was by far the most interesting, in that I knew I was winning and messed up somehow. However, what's really crazy is that the evaluation graph showed that my advantage was modest, but then says my opponent is dead lost after churning for a few more seconds.
