What does the engine mean when it called this game a "throwaway"?

If you aren't trying to improve, then why do you care about what sort of automated messages an engine throws at you? You aren't possibly insulted by a silicon chip, are you?

Work hard, and you will get awarded an A for effort.

It typically means that one side was winning, then blundered it away. In this case, white was winning at one point in the game, then threw it away. However, it is interesting that the pattern is more of a zig-zag. Not much we can do about the automated chess.com keywords!  Converting properly on advantages is hard to do, especially at the beginner level. If you're interested in seeing how master-level players convert advantages (maybe something that will help you improve ), check out my YouTube channel. I post educational and instructive content, with lots more on the way:

Does analysis count as an engine(Like while playing the game you use analysis)?
