Correspondence based chess seems to offer the possibility of games like this with well 'researched' opening moves allowing White to obtain a draw, as long as he is careful - and Black doesn't realise what he's up too until it's too late! 
I liked it.
You know, I might be impressed, ih8sens, if you hadn't gotten yourself kicked off of redhotpawn.com for engine use. They don't kick people off that site unless they have a very good reason to, which means they poured over your games and collectively decided to declare you a cheater. I can't believe you weren't even smart enough to change your user ID on this site.

Or you can look at it the other way... I did not cheat on RHP and therefore felt no need to change my user ID to 'get away' with something. I am not a cheater and have no desire to cheat on this site either. RHP has/had a very flawed moderation system.. a system that was changed immediately after I was banned from the site because their decision (along with many others) was very controversial. If you have an issue with my play by all means report it to eric. I can already tell you it won't help.
Edit - If you STILL have any doubts send me a blitz game :).
A blitz game it is, then. I'm heading out for the weekend. Shall we schedule it for Monday or Tuesday? Then we'll post the results--and the game--here for all to see. Sound all right? I'm only about a 1600ish player, by the way. You should have no probs beating me if you really are 1800.

I'll be on here monday at about 3pm my time. 5 min blitz.. 2 games.. I'm not the best blitz but if you are 'only' :P a 1600 player I should be able to give you a game :).

Okay I just logged into blitz.. didn't see you there.. I have to go in a few minutes so maybe we'll make it tommorow?
There's no poing in playing. If I win, you'll say How do I know you're rated 1600?" And if you win, well, what did that prove? At least this way, we know where you are and who to avoid. I don't want you crying and creating a new account (unbeknowst to us) and saying something like "My "brother" has an account here, too." in case the IP trackers get you. I like it this way better.
Lesson to Learn --- Taking a tactical line is fine against anyone but in a tournament, when results are more important than a few rating points which you can get back anyways... don't be afraid to take a drawish path.. just make sure it's a line you're comfortable with!
