that lady that you played plays at the Mechanics Institute here in SF all the time, she's a child psychologist or something like that.  I stay away from her because she's always trying to analyze me ...actually she's a very nice lady.

But she has such a lovely German accent!  It wasn't her analysis of me that was bothersome but that nasty closed game we got into...

USCF really sucks at doing the online thing.  Always 5-10 years behind the world.

Well, friends, I got my clock cleaned AGAIN tonight...

On the plus side, that's actually a useful thing in chess. Smile

I only got 1.5 points. -_- But I was one of the four people to tie for first in the unrated section of the blitz tournament with 5 points!

What's the name of the lady that plays at the Mechanics Institute?

That lady's name is Dr. (of Ed.) Renate Otterbach; she's quite an interesting character...

BTW I'm really glad this tourney is over--I picked Round 9 to play my worst game of the whole thing!  FrownFrownFrown

BTW #2--the 2 guys who ran the store, Shelby Lohrman (American Chess Equipment) & Greg Yanez (Chess4Life) are really great; very upfront & easy going as well.
