Sounds like lag:

If this was actually cheating, you could report abuse via the "Help & Support" link at the bottom of each page.
I'd urge you to be pretty sure, though, before clogging up the system with frivolous abuse reports -- this case, for example, can be easily explained by lag.
was his time replenishing completely back to full or just a few seconds (5-15) were replenishing after every move?
Do you mean he lost no time on each move? He could just have been making premoves, that's what it sounds like to me...
1) This is too petty an incident to bother reporting it to the site administrators
2) It wasn't bonus time being added on because that was not part of the clock settings.
3) It may have been lag, I read the description (thanks for the link). However, his time repeatedly kept going back to 1 min 30 sec (give or take 1-2 sec), regardless of how many seconds he took to make his next move. So basically the clock counted down normally from 3 min to 1 min 30 sec and then it kept resetting at that exact time. That is why I was so perplexed.
R1 R2 L1 L2 U D R L U L L D o x x o - try it, gets you the army helicopter.
Try to get one of your pawns to the other side man, if you hold the SHIFT key for at least three seconds while making the last move to the eighth rank, there will be a hidden pop up which will give you new weapons and 100% ammo.
sound like pre-moves to me or lag
whats a pre-move?
That's where during your opponent's move you figure the position's not very flexible, there's only so many possible ways my opponent can move so I might as well save some time by 'pre-moving' my piece/pawn to the next move (or moves!!) that would be safe regardless of what 'reasonable' move my opponent actually makes.
Such moves are then executed by the site much faster than you could do manually (in combination with lag adjustments, it might well look like your opponent's gaining time with each move). The risk is that you gave your opponent too much credit for making reasonable moves and you end up embarrassed to find your premove is disastrous.

Report an opponent who said "ha ha" as a troll who was rude?
I suspect the site Staff have better uses for their time than dealing with such "reports" of minutiate (trivia).

ps. You're limited to 200 blocks. If you've lag that creates this problem in the first place, you'll soon use up your quota of blocks.
It could be lag or premoves. However the guy could also have written a script to adjust his clock settings. You should probably msg some staff person to be on the safe side.

There isn't a way to do that. I discussed this at length in another topic. Have some faith in chess.com.
Good day,
I just played a blitz game against an opponent (time 3, 0) and this person had somehow jigged the timer to replenish after every move time, even though as you can see, this shouldn't have been happening according to the clock settings. He thought he was so funny that my time was running out while his wasn't. When I asked him about this he just replied "ha ha." Has anyone else encountered this before? It makes me think there are some sort of cheat codes people are accessing or something.
