for strategy i would suggest Strategic Chess Exercises, by Emanuel Bricard. Very good book
'The Complete Book of Chess Strategy' by Jeremy Silman should be a good read. It would give you a rough idea of how things work in chess. Or you can go for Irving Chernev's Logical Chess: Move by Move. The former is my choice. And I would suggest you solve a lot of tactics maybe online or from books or apps (there are many sources).
