Version 2 of chess.com is just horrible! V1 worked perfectly on my flip phone and my Atari. This new site just hangs up! Why change it just because? Please bring back v1 or I am going to have to go back to actually playing OTB! Thank you for your consideration.

The New Chess.com is Here! (And so is the old Chess.com)
What happened to Chess.com? As of today, the new version of Chess.com is our main site. Don’t worry, you can still switch back to the old site, but when you first visit, you will land on the new site. The old site will remain available for a few more months while we make the new site more customizable and finish some speed improvements for members using older computers.
Please note: We have done a LOT to make the new site feel like home. You can even make the new site look like the old with our new Classic mode. To try classic mode, simply visit www.chess.com/classic. This will change your theme and a few other options related to your home page and profile, to make things more like the old site. (Of course, you can adjust these options as you like at any time.)
Why the new site? Well, for one thing, the old site was holding us back! With the new site, we have been able to develop some amazing new features that our members have been asking for for years, and they are ready for you to start using now!
We know it is hard to get used to something new. Please give it a try, and after a few days we believe you will feel at home and come to love the new site.
