Bulldog Chess with Spirit (rychessmaster1 vs. AidanB1)
It is not legal. From the rules:
Spirit (S) - A spirit moves as a knight. It can 'capture' friendly pieces, which gain the movement of a knight in addition to it's other abilities. A 'possessed' piece can be captured like normal. A spirit which is not possessing anything can only be captured by a possessed piece. It is transparent to friendly pieces. A spirit can leave the possessed piece, and is then able to possess another piece. *If a spirit possesses a knight, the knight just moves as normal.*
The spirit is transparent to friendly pieces, but nowhere in the rules is it stated that it gives transparency to a piece it posses, so it is safe to assume it does not give any transparency to pieces it possess. If you want clarifications on this, the best member to ask is the inventor, which I believe is @HorribleTomato. I actually have no experience with this piece. Also, here is a little quote for him where he mentions a possessed piece is not transparent when discussing how a spirit adds value to a piece:
Yeah to every piece it can possess, don't forget invisibility in it's normal body (except possessed pieces), and blockading.
As far as I see white must trade queen+spirit against 2 rooks which should be really good for black.
