Look i think you are missing what chess is all about it doesn't have to point out who is good and who is evil it IS logical because it has rules, actually chess is a good, logical, and very well made if you took a moment to think about the rules every rule has a reason that it's there.

So that is why there are no more posts here.

For the record, he was refering to ichess.com which sells GM videos and igor smirnovs cources.

They are great, but only with serious study, and I seriously doubt the maker of this thread was serious, just arrogant.

Just my thoughts on this - logozar

Chess indeed is stupid. It is the game where no blunders are allowed and people who make blunders get caught in it, because they want to prove themselves but they can't. I will always lose against weaker opponent simply because I make lot of blunders. Chess corresponds to nothing in life, not to intelligence, not to talent... not to real life situations where (in life) some mistakes are always allowed and can be corrected. It is natural for human to err and then correct itself. Chess doesn't allow that. It is a devil's trap for weak minded, who want to prove themselves in something that is entirely beside point.

chess is stupid there's no way a beginner can win. the fricken computer doesn't even go easy on you. the game sucks, and i've lost 30 games, and no one goes easy. it sucks.

The only thing I hate about chess is, you guessed it, STALEMATE!!!!!!!!  After all the work you put in after getting to that endgame point all you do is tie I feel like if your opponent has no legal moves it should be a checkmate. Overall I enjoy chess since it enhances observation and decision making skills. Thank you for reading this.

I mean sometimes its nice to just not lose. This could be the 900 thinking though. I do agree that it’s frustrating to stalemate in a dominating endgame.

You guys are kind of low rated... you aren’t exactly one to speak. If you practice enough you won’t accidentally make a stalemate.

chess is not some dumb game

Dragonlouis is right

Avatar of BunnyGambit

I not that high rated but I am not complaining

and why are you here to spread bad vibes about chess at a chess website. we are here to learn and we don't need bad talk about something people deeply care about

Avatar of BunnyGambit

We are here to learn and we don't need bad vibes here. so take all your trash talk to yourself and stop discouraging some people who are trying to learn

Avatar of BunnyGambit

oops I think I wrote that twice.... but hopefully you get the point

and roniron... sorry if I got your name wrong, it kinda does have to do with real life, it teaches you how to multitask. and in school and work, you will get used to competition because you compete in chess. Also, if you make a big mistake in your work, they MIGHT give you another chance, but if you mess up again, you might get fired. so it's not like you will keep getting chances in real life.

You should see the other comments and you should reread my comment I enjoy chess and I don't stalemate often but I still see it as pretty weird....
