Define a sport, I have come up with a definition that perfectly works, and you have not, so, how do you define a sport?

a root could be better than us at baseball soccer etc. in the future. Right now, chess is dominated by computers, but 50 years ago, that wasn't even considered a possibility.

also, go is a sport that is dominated by a tiny microchip.

I'm using the IOC definition

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) defines a sport as a competitive physical activity or game that uses or improves physical fitness and skills. Sports are also meant to be fun and entertaining for participants and spectators.

I've directly proven that chess needs no physical activity, only mental, if it required physical then a piece of metal the size of a potato chip wouldn't be better that every human put together

A piece of metal is better at online chess, not OTB

Just because a definition isn't the most widely accepted doesn't mean its wrong, words ca have many different meanings, and language is complex and nuanced. Therefore, it follows that chess is a sport, because it meets one of the widely accepted definitions.

They only define a sport as something they recognize as a sport, and while they are credible, they provide no criteria other than their recognition, and whether or not there is a federation

Avatar of YankeesFanForLife

You need a real definition, not just a list of federations
