Chess or Piano?

The Piano. Because when someone's playing it, I can hear beautiful sounds, in most cases. When someone's playing chess, I can only hear the noise of the board and pieces and bad words when the game is finished.

The beauty of chess is usually unseen to people who don't want to see it :/

I didn't intend to say that this game isn't beautiful. It is, but the piano seems to be a little bit more pleasant to the watchers around the player and his keys.
Depends, a talented piano player will play beautifully, a gm will also play beautiful moves. A noob piano player will play horrifically, just like a noob chess player's moves will be horrific =)

I have been playing piano since before I can remember! Chess I didn't start until I was older, but they both are fun hobbies of mine!

there should be a theme where it plays a note when you move a piece, and so in bullet it sounds amazing

I think that both are good but i think that piano is better bc people who know how to play chess better than others make fun of the starters making them giving up. While at the piano even is you know a small song nobody will ever make fun of you bc they know that they cant play any instrument.
Piano is the greater talent if viewed by people who appreciate watching and listening.

This is true. I even started a topic on how certain chess players are what is wrong with chess.
