...actually I'm not, I don't care, but it seemed funny to say so anyway.  I can't even put into words how hilarious that last statement is, especially considering how turgid all of your rhetoric has been thus far.

Let's work through the equivalency here, step-by-step:

1. Grobe makes statement

2. nameno1 responds to said statement with different point entirely

3. Grobe points out nameno1 misses the point

4. nameno1 claims he's just thinking about something deeper

5. I point out nameno1 is being rude in doing points 2 & 4 without announcing his intentions of doing so (it's common conversational courtesy)

6. nameno1 says I'm acting like a douche and also threatening him as an adult

7. I laugh and laugh and laugh

You were being exceptionally rude, and if you think you can accuse me of being condescending, then I can certainly accuse you of that.  And I'm doing just fine with my relationships, thank you very much, as I usually go into conversations with my friends/loved ones presuming them to be equals.

You have certainly treated me as if my attempts at adding any thoughts to a conversation had to meet with your approval (condescending). You also treated me as if you knew what I was thinking, when you clearly didn't and thus have made an ass of yourself in the process and to cover your tracks, have continually tried convince me how wrong I was for simply contributing my thoughts to a few people having a conversation (more condescention). Ok I'll do you the favor you have failed to do for me. I'll simply look at you as an inexperienced, cocky young man that thinks he is ready to outsmart the wisdom of his elders. No, you weren't.  Please think this through: you said something mostly unrelated to what TheGrobe said, and then when he pointed out this, you claimed (with incredible condescension, I should add), that you had thought it over more than he had.  Please, think it through.

That is because, it is generally difficult to adequately describe the behavior of another that, in and of itself, doesn't make make sense...

All I said was money was necessary for life's necessities in today's world. The fact that presumably educated people think that is a debatable statement led me right to The Good Book, which, as always, is the best source for wisdom and guidance.

I didn't say anything about what you were thinking, I was merely talking about what you were doing.

On the subject as a whole...yes I probably have thought about it more than him, and saying I think so isn't necessarily condescending...and if I do, it doesn't doesn't necessarily mean that I thought I know better, but simply that I had considered it enough that, I had a qualification to speak on the subject...the real bottom line is that it is an opinion...which basically shoots off any leg you have to stand on, for trying to tell me I have no right to voice my opinion.

I was trying to help him realize I wasn't arguing, just giving him something to think about...but you missed that...BTW...I also think you are so inexperienced and uneducated about the subject also, you have failed miserably when it comes to seeing how someone who isn't, would be relating something to the specific conversation...also I was motivated to type it in support of the Hippo and not as an argument to the grobe, it just seemed that way...especially to you...I see the Grobe didn't feel so threatened by it...
