Just because you open another browser window and it connects to a DIFFERENT site does not mean that you connection to chess.com is alive.

There are plenty of threads in here about how to help it to not happen.

No, not at all.

Why do you think I am kidding you?

There are millions of users on this site, a SMALL percentage of them (a very small percentage) complain about losing connection.

Even the US Marine Corps lose connections at Quantico some times (yes, I have first hand experience).

It happens. If a miilion dollar purse is on the lien, you'd have a gripe.

That's very frustrating.  No sympathy from Rsava though.

first thing you should try is clearing your internet cache, (which is quick).
second thing to try is switching to google chrome or firefox (which is not as quick).
third thing to try is contacting help and support and maybe there's something specific they might be able to help you identify.

Why do you keep asking me things like "Are you kidding me?" and "Are you for real?"

Do the people in your life lie to you?

I am sorry if they do. I do not.

I understand it is frustrating but why is it chess.com's fault? Why isn;t your internet connection, or your computer, or your browser, or your virus protection or ... the list can go on.

Also, you state that you lost 7 because you were disconnected (quote - "  lost  7 because I have been disconnected")

You played 18 live games today, lost 8 (total), 4 of them by resignation or checkmate. Only 4 were lost on time.

So I must ask you, "SEVEN GAMES LOST FROM DISCONNECTION, ARE YOU KIDDING ME????" Oh, wait, you are.

Well, he did say he reconnected and found he had not much time on his clock, so maybe he resigned right away out of disgust, or played very fast and lost to checkmate.

Very good point. I did not think of that aspect.
