Has anyone else lost a game due to a misclick?

I have misclicked recently on 3 separate daily games. Yes. Daily. Each one cost me either a half point or full point.
Just terrible.

It helps to have move confirmation turned on in longer time controls, especially daily.

Yes on mobile devices against the computer, I turn on confirm moves for actual games above 5 minutes.
YEP MISCLICKS ARE ANNOYING AND IT ALWAYS ENDS UP IN A BIG BLUNDER

I feel like it has happened so many times to so many people the game should have a feature that makes you confirm your move.

That would ruin bullet and 3 minute Blitz. You can turn that on for Daily games though. Maybe it would be relevant for rapid with increment, but w/out increment, it would make time scrambles impossible.
ive lost my last game due to a missclick i hung a queen in 1 im so tilted rn

My last game was brilliant, hung my queen then opponent did the same few moves later. Blunder city! Sometimes I blame it on missclicks 😁

I've never lost to mis click - played the other day and absolutely crushed her.
I can now win without misclicks.
Once I accidentally moved my queen. Surprisingly, my opponent didn't take it. Just for it to happen a few moves later. Or maybe just one.

I dropped a piece on the wrong square in a group match but the gentleman I was playing realized i dropped it in error and allowed me to make two moves and get it back where i intended.
He made two moves with a knight while i reset the game. He didn't have to but he lost the game shortly after .. . . We listed as friends after the game.
YES. omg I just5 lost a game when I accidentally misclicked the square my king was going to. I was about to capture a pawn that was going to promote to a queen, but I MISCLICKED. it promoted and yea I was gonna be mated in just a few moves...
