has the queen's gambit re lit anyone's flame for chess?

I have played almost exclusively bullet games for a very long time now, and when you do chess seems much more of a sport than an art. It is a quick game that's win at all costs, not the beautiful puzzle I once fell inove with. I was happy with this and really enjoyed it, until watching this program. Seeing chess on the big screen has changed my outlook. I don't want the quick fun games any more. I want the protracted puzzle of the game, the art form, the strategy. It got me thinking, if anyone else has felt the same way. I think I'm turned off bullet and even blitz now. Daily and rapid will be my new go to. And actually, playing longer games, seeing chess as an art as opposed to a sport, I think that means I will re admit a long lost move to my arsenal: resignation. I'm not going to play any more daily games to the death, I'm not going to play any rapid games to the death, if I'm beaten I'm beaten. My flame has been re lit.
