The article was published on chess.com.
Surprisingly it was about improving at chess.
It contained a study plan for the beginner player and several books were mentioned in the article.
It suggested a tactical book first like the Art of attack, the fco opening book, and several books from the author Silman, a puzzle book, Reasses your chess for middlegame and his endgame.
It was more than just a couple of book recommendations, to me it seemed like a very well put together study plan and I would like to read it again if someone knows where to find it.
P.S: It might have been a long forum post but I beleive it was an article.
