How do I make computer understand that the king can't castle.

Hi, today I was playing chess with my friend at home 🏡, but the game is not finished yet and he leave the game in between and left to his home.

Then I tried to complete the match with computer đź’», so I setup the board customely, but it was castling which it should not because my friend was in check before and moved the king and again repositioned it. So how do I make computer understand that.

if you use FEN to tell the computer the position, than your FEN notation needs the castling part.

most programs have a checkbox for can-castle when setting up a position
