You're one unique kid with an onion brain..

can't argue with that

I was being you, so yeah..

no need to be me, yu can't be me, you couldn't even be yourself! 2x17

Whenever I start playing a game, I start to get nervous. My brain starts to heat up fast that I blunder a lot of pieces. So how do you stay cool? Is there some kind of psychological trick? Thanks for your time.

Breathe, take your time, look at 2-3 candidate moves and think twice before you capture or give check

Whenever my opponent makes a move I don't like, and I start feeling the way you just described, I stand on my chair and shout...

You just worry because of the clock running low  try some bullet games, it will go away maybe

It is not about the clock actually. It is about the opponent. The position he plays look really complex when in fact it is easy.

Try practicing against the computer. Do you have the same issue with the computers?

I just play the game, thinking you need to win every game will make you anxious, i play for fun , thinking only about the moves, i think only of best moves needed for me to be played, that will take me out from a bad position or keep my winning position, i have no knowledge of openings as It has too many variations, and i rely on tactics 95% , and after I win many games in a row, only then I play for win, if I lose, i don't feel anything, i check my blunders, or mistakes, then next game i play more tactically!

But what about the clock?

Ultimateghost

well i can say that take a 15 mins match and just cool your mind. If u take a 5 mins match u will be in a  tension of time that u have gave the move fast or the time will be up so take a 15 mins match u have enough time to choose a move and just be cool.wink.pngwink.png

The story of my life in a few sentences. I like to play the position, not my opponent. And, wow, does that help. Don't try to win the game, play the best move in the position. Time management comes with playing bullet chess and fast calculation.
