Am quite weak in elo of fast games, cause I am a record holder in 1-move-blunders, but calculating itself isn’t that difficult. Tactics puzzles, a few minutes at same time of each day help. Also here the Lessons help and the Training here to get used to certain patterns. Basic endgame knowledge helps also. And learning a main opening repertoire. The best not to change between several openings as long as the main one isn’t familiar and secure enough. Recognized that myself, as I began to memorize openings intensely, that way less calculting is needed than before. Certain patterns go to automatic mode

The book "Think Like a Grandmaster" by Kotov treats that question.
It is mainly a matter of mental discipline. Identify 3 candidate moves. Analyse their consequences one by one, evaluate, decide on your intended move, check it is no blunder. For efficiency think of each line once only.
Kotov surely knew how to calculate:

This is good advice @tygxc and @Optimissed. I’m trying to learn and apply this. Sometimes I’m not sure which to choose and i have a hard time visualizing or seeing more than three or more moves ahead.
