I've lost connection hundreds of times and maybe more. It happens at both ends, in that sometimes the wireless connection at this end goes but occasionally everything else is working fine and therefore the problem is at chess.crum end, which they deny. I like them really. They do their best.

Optimisst, you'll have to convince the National Health Service in England. It's not a ridiculous idea, given how many Gen Y and Gen Z depression scores due to internet meanness have developed.
Woolly has advocated a few times, that a resident psychiatrist would help this site to keep everything running smoothly .

I don´t understand this threads and I don´t understand, why so many people care about it. There are literally hundreds of threads where the OP says something (mostly stupid) and a lot of people answer and discuss and don´t know what, but the OP remains silent till the hype runs out. People, don´t you think you have better things to do?

For better or worse, archaja, social media like this are part of modern life. People talk about things to work out solutions. How many homeless shelters do you have in Germany? Compare that to America's western coast cities. We care about little things because we want the social landscape to improve.

I found changing to a wired mouse from bluetooth and putting in an ethernet cable instead of wireless network made disconnects and misclicks almost a thing of the past for me, since I changed I had only one dodgy misclick instance.
Also the ethernet cable speeds for other things are extraordinary now and I never get lag in a very busy multi person household.
If you are stuck with wireless, most hubs you can set up a second wireless network for yourself, then run the household things on one network (the slowest of the two) and dedicate one to your self interest, it works well.

Good suggestion! I was told by an IT fellow to put all unused devices, phones, iPads, tablets, etc., on airplane mode. Not sure if it helps because we finally got high speed satellite. 75-130 mbps now vs. 450 kbps previously.

No, we do not have better things to do. We are what one would call "losers" or "idlers" with nothing better to do than sit around all day typing nonsense on an internet chess site about garbage that no one cares about.

But what does improve? Imagine the following: You are at a party with people you think are interesting. You go to a group who just went together and hear one person ask a personal question. You are interested BUT: At the moment when one of the people start to answer the question or to give some help just the person who asked at the beginning turns around and leave the group. How would you feel? That is the situation every second or third thread here: That is not improvement, it is wasting time.
And if you ask, why I´m still in this threat: Because 1.) I don´t want to be like all these OPs who are not able to defend theire meanting and
2.) because I think you will not remain silent and THEN we have a discussion.
