You've only played a few games.

Don't worry about winning or losing, the important thing is to just play and have fun. you will  get better with time and experience, and if you don't , so what? It's not like it's costing you anything to play.

Just enjoy yourself and remember, it's not a big deal that you totally suck at chess and play like a small retarded child.

Before you move, try to visualize the result of that move on the board. Then look at each of your opponent's pieces, starting from the pawns, then up in power to the queen, and ask yourself, "can that piece take one of my pieces for free next turn?"

After you do this well enough, you'll stop hanging pieces, which is probably the only way to lose a bunch of pieces in a few turns.

You also learn to do this much faster with practice.

Yeah, look for all the opponent's captures and checks for sure. Also basic threats like what if they advance a pawn to attack one of your non-pawns?

If your move is safe against checks, captures, and threats, then you can play it.

Once you get to where you're doing this on every move of every game (not easy, but becomes easier over time) your rating will have by then gone up many 100s of points.

This is not a trivial skill to gain. I'm being serious when I say give yourself at least a year before you're really doing it 100% of the time. Of course during this year you can learn all sorts of other things too, but this basic skill is more or less the most important thing that separates beginners from intermediate. Even after a year you could probably still improve it (even GMs screw up sometimes).

Ask the question is my King a retard every move....because mine is and that is the quickest way to lose.

Don't worry about it, you're still new. I'm just now getting back into chess after a couple years and my games have been the same way irl, but I'm slowly getting back into things. It takes time, so for the most part it's important to just have fun and remember that you'll get better with time. Good luck! grin.png
