By the way, I'm drinking a beer. Since I didn't want to go through the trouble of creating a new thread, I figured I'd just announce it here.

my cooler floating nearby has heineken, guiness, and yuengling in it.

ESB stands for extra special bitter; IPA stands for India pale ale. ESB is Red Hook's flagship ale. I've tried several of Red Hook's other ales, including the IPAs, over the years but ESB has always been my favorite.
