is it possible for me to become a GM in 5 years???

Its possible if you are very gifted, start at an young age, and preparing with a strong coach. An example is Hikaru Nakamura who became GM at 10. 

In normal conditions, just by playing online its impossible

The youngest GM is 13.

Indeed i messed up, Hikaru Nakamura wasnt GM at 10, only National Master I think.

i am very very good tho my dad said i should be GM soon

i am 4 yrs younger  and have 1600 fide  otb  and only started playing during corona, and i dont think I could ever become a CM, but i've already beaten my coach (1800). if you play 3-4 hrs a day, I think it would be possible to become a gm at around 23 . I have slowed down, so I only play a few games a day, thus I will never attain GM level

so play frequently

also, stay a way from bullet. Everyone I know that has a level over 2100 Fide says that it corrupts  you. Rapid is best for improvement

There are around 800 million chess players in the world and only about 1500 of them are grandmasters.  in Other words....  0.00019% or 1 in 534,000

You're born with the ability to become a GM - So no matter how much will and determination one may have - it simply isn't possible for the vast majority of us.   This isn't something a young chess player likes to hear and some may accuse me of squashing a 'dream', but its reality!    You also cant will yourself to be a pro sports player, be a world class marathoner or break the world free diving record unless you start life with a very specific DNA sequence.
