i wonder if there will ever be a digital version of the game contolled via mental stimulus. for example. i think pawn e5 and the pawn moves to e5 instantly in the digital space. insanely high speed blitz games could occur as there would be no fumbling pieces nor having to click and drag. just think and its done.

Is the 215 milliseconds it takes for your brain to coordinate with your eyes and control your hands too long?

Waaah!

I averaged just over a quarter of a second per move for this 34 move game

Just imagine the wonders of a digital game of chess where physically typing a message or hitting Ctrl+V is no longer a barrier to the verbal harassment you can throw at your opponent. No more moving hands across the keyboard or having to deal with typos. All you need to do is think something horrible about their proclivities, their lineage, or their intellectual prowess, and bam!
