They may have. I know Mr Kowalski has played this Immoral-Gladiator (former) member. If MrDamonSmith did also there is a VERY good chance they played each other!

No we haven't played. I've posted a few times on the same threads though. In particular the "my debut game" & also Jamies thread talking about going to play in the World Open. We live in the same part of the country, He's in Va, I'm in NC, & our ratings are similar. It could happen that we meet up in the same tournament OTB if I decide to keep up with my return to otb tournaments. Although I'm a bit ticked off & feeling sorry for my self after my last tournament, I've been whining about it. I'm might go play in the NC Open at the end of the month, we'd be in the same section if he went to play.
....and no, I never played Immortal-Gladiator. I offered him ideas on what he should do to improve & how I'd do it if I could start all over again. Advice I got from 2400-2600 players I've known but got to know way too late in my chess learning. But IG seemed like he just didn't want to listen, he wanted to do it his way, like he knew just what to study.
