Okay...chess related answer. Does it matter if you start with the dark pieces? In other words "dark matter?" My answer is only if you are up against a player who is strong enough to make use of a very small advantage.

Would white win because he can move first? or maybe black wins because he moves second! (because white gave him some information to work with)

How to use dark matter?

Isn't Dark Matter what gets flushed down the toilet every day by 5 or 6 billion people?
Dark matters because it starts off at a disadvantage where white begins the initiative and starts off with a slight advantage.

clever joeseph. sadly i spent a quick thought of "hmmm, whatever that was didn't load" then i felt dumb. so, i suppose i shouldn't be commenting in this thread.
