Bullet is chess. I wouldn’t say it’s the cream of the crop in any way but it is still chess.

That sentence makes no sense. Ping pong and tennis are two very different sports played with different rules, different balls, different surface, different racket.
On the other hand, bullet is 100% chess. No difference at all.
No one in their right mind would say "tie-break is not tennis". But that "bullet is not chess" pops up again and again, although it's the same kind of obvious nonsense.

Chess is a game of strategy, in bullet you cannot develop strategy. bullet, especially ultrabullet is just nonsense
Bullet and blitz are still chess unfortenently when you hit "play" it becomes a chess board

Why switch to classical? Its outdated and does not belong into this modern Era, even magnus retired from classical he is still best player on the planet as of now and yet he does not bother with candidates etc. But he plays faster modes quite offen. Bullet is the future, accept it.

Rapid is useful up to a point
Like literally they hang their pieces by move 15 more times than in blitz lmao though blitz gets more chaotic by move 20-25
Classical is a different thing mostly because that is otb tournaments and in person interaction helps
