standard game

Hi everyone. I play lots of blitz, and lots of bullet as well. But sometimes I want to think more thoroughly so I try to play a 15 minute game, but I can't ever find anyone of my rating because it seems like nearly nobody plays this type of game !! So either I play Computer Impossible, or I take players rated much less than me... I'd like to play 1800+ players, but I'm never able.

What do you think about standard game on internet ?  DO you think live chess sites are only made for blitz and bullet ? 

You're right. If you want to play standard, try OTB or try playing an engine at home adjusting its strength.

The 15/10  time format is one which has been a hurdle for me..lost half  

my games due to poor internet connection.now with broad band connection that is over,but the below 1590 players upto 1280 if you encounter-extensive usage of chess engines..easy way to find out -for  

each and every move of theirs -they would disconnect and come back-all the moves are far above the standard of their rating..in 10mts and below  

format I have not found this as there is very little time to do so much  

work..unless as a progammer you connect game directly to the browser and let the engine  do all work..

Try 30 minute games. I've played several 1800+ rated opponents. Sometimes I do have to wait a few to get a game though.
