Can't get any attention. Quote only one person that is not laughing is my opponent as he knows all his preparedness has gone and knows that the only person that has prepared this opening is his opponent reference e4 a6

Everyone who plays or a fan of chess would love this made into a book or readable notation book I'm no expert but there is legal questions and financial implications. I am not interested in money just wanted to get Tony the total respect he deserves the books are pure magic for all fans players and professionals. Help me bring them out into the audience they deserve. He reminds me of pro players of today like MC throwing away from the normal for eventually getting the position or advantage.

Quote he is more famous for the name I have given him than his game but truly chess has a king that is practically unbelievably beautiful at his art he has propelled the game to a new height with such a fantastic eye. It's a pleasure to lose to such an opponent. Perhaps these comments will not see the light but, but if possible. If I can get some interest would a site that raises the money help. Any feedback very much appreciated. No authority has even replied to comment but this I feel would be a fan thing or professional sponsor. My last comment unless answering questions.

He was criticized for something's but all I know is someone who played postal chess with me while at competition I am a fan of his game not just because of our personal journey. Come on chess dot com fancy a project? Thank you for your story I love to hear these comments about my favourite person and I am glad how I came to be known to him without any problems respectfully personal but that was his character.

Someone suggested crowdfunding but I don't think it would raise the money to do everything this needs the fans, players or chess entity. I have been careful with my quotes but maybe some wouldn't like to see this as he is so brutal with his comments honest with himself and others that is why I need help with legality also. Maybe just put up as is free online but I have a respect and want anyone in there on board. I don't really want to do this anonymously. I'm already not by coming here.

Tony Miles was sometimes seen at my club - Warley Quinborne - and the affiliated Checkmate Club which was Mike Fox's - author of The Complete Chess Addict - great chess involvement. I didn't ever speak to Tony as this was a period when I was mostly away from chess.
There are a couple of little known photos of Tony here in the middle of the page:

Here is a game one of our players won against Tony in a simul:

Wow thank you for the replies. I'm a bit of a part of his life that is not widely known so reading your words taking the time to connect warms my heart. He was really talented and would go against the grain. He believed that you can play not always how we are told. Control the centre knights before bishops etc but play certain opponents he'd played before or researching them to change the game to win. Typical example how he played with the black pieces a nod to the Birmingham defence.. I have to be a bit sensitive because of other people but to spend time while he played professionally working on my game says it all edit it is not about money and they are not for sale rather a history of a time in chess that would make a good story to tell.

If so anyone is wondering how I have such a resource then I will tell, I was personally given them. Make what you want to that but no answers to personal questions he had a little bit too much of that. This is about the chess of Tony Miles.

If anyone here maybe a fan with legal knowledge please reach out to me. If a professional entity would like to discuss the subject please reach out to me. If anyone is not interested in TM because they maybe in there as they played please don't try not let this happen and let TM be TM. They are honest, funny and a historical piece of brilliance. Notation books are just usually that a record of your game to analyse. I am playing it down how excellent they are. If a company or professional chess player got in touch then what a service that they could do for chess. Yes it is a time that has gone on and we have unbelievably players around now but this is something special to the history of chess, sorry to repeat myself but if I could quote more without fear of being sued the thread would have so many views. I will leave it there now unless someone has the foresight to contact me. Oh one last edit I am not interested in making any money from this simply I the owner of these resources will not make, take any financial gain. I think it helps but more so am not interested in the slightest making money from the books why as I've said and it is a fact of honour to TM my personality and I'm really trying to get this project done.

Miles is one of my fav players and he was quite a personality which is not common grandmasters. He was quite a fighter on the board and his unorthodox style was very unique, a fitting replacement for the great but waning larsen.
his early death due to diabetes was a great tragedy to chess. Now with Basmans death, English chess has lost another maverick.
They weren't "mavericks", they were players who played joke moves, in part it seems to help prop up their personality. Why couldn't Miles be eccentric and witty and play real chess?
A maverick would be like someone who played the Chigorin or the Reti at high levels.

real chess lmao, you italians are funny people
i dont know how people can have such a ridiculous attitude to chess in the post kasparov computer era where entire legions of chess propriety has been thrown out the window and ancient relics revived without any human intervention.

Thank you for your comments but TM was no joke 😕 you may have but If not look at his games. Not everyone beat Karpov and Spassky as he did. If this is strictly chess comments then I respect that as long as his personal life does not cloud any judgement , I'm sure not but he did take this sort of criticism just for being Tony.

These guys and players around taking shortcuts are chalk and cheese. They lived, breathed and spent 99% of their time on the game. From reading games played one hundred years ago to full time research on the modern game. That's why the cheating scandals goes right to the bone. They did a life long apprenticeship taking the right course and why it makes chess professionals angry that have done this journey without trying to get ahead without the work. TM was a pro.

Beating Karpov e4 a6 seems like a joke but he picked up two pawns along the way and played flawlessly he deserved the right to rename it the Birmingham defence. He thought out of the box which is kudos to him.

Any chess player would read the games, analysis and commentary and I feel that they would be glad they did. These turned into a work of art and historically creditable that need a sponsor for me I am interested in the fans and not a financial gain in any way.

As for real chess Kasparov used TM for preparation. I have quotes that were said to TM of admiration and respect for him and his skills in our great game. Please If you have any opinions not respecting his game supply s source or reason. Quote: -1

Shame you could not play a game with him. Much respect to you.
Hello, I'm looking for some information or help with something that I feel every fan or player should have a chance to read. I have all of Tony miles notation books with analysis and comments. Comments on the competition, competitors, atmosphere and private friendlies. The books are an absolute gem. If you don't remember Tony he played the St George's defence against karpov and won. He details the laughter, sniggering and elbowing by the crowd but no one ever laughed at him after he won against karpov who eventually resigned. His considered most famous game was the crushing of Spassky but karpovs game is my favourite but if you read the comments and analysis book you would be on my level. Yes he was a character who died much too young and I know he would of gone on to have many more great games. He joined Kasparovs team for the preparation and was the guy who gave Kasparov his famous nickname. Does anyone have any suggestions keeping in mind legal implications. Yeah so it I want clear enough I'd like to publish the games that are more like books never seen anything like them before but that what made Tony, Tony!
